  1. Communication and collaboration are hallmarks of a Toledo, Ohio Dental Practice, Frankel Dentistry. The owner/dentist, Dr. Jon Frankel found a clever way to check in on his doctors, healthcare providers and staff in the time of COVID-19.

Frankel Dentistry has a caring culture based on communication and collaboration.

At Frankel Dentistry, the main goal has always been to protect the health of their patients, their team, and their community. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic they are seeing patients with dental emergencies only.

If you have a dental emergency, please contact them and they will take care of you. If you’re in pain, have a broken tooth, or an abscess, please call or text them.

They want to keep dental emergencies out of the hospital emergency rooms to serve those with the coronavirus.

Both locations Toledo and Maumee are open to dental emergencies. There are doctors, healthcare providers and staff to take care of you in case of a dental emergency.

This means many of the Frankel Dental family are home in self-isolation. Dr. Frankel made sure each and every employee was well via ZOOM last weekend.

Dr. Frankel and Dr. Puhl exemplify Frankel Dentistry’s values.

    Serve All – Always Better –  G.E.T.

If you have ever visited Frankel Dentistry you must have imagined this tele-call was filled with laughter. One of the highlights was a dental hygienist hiding under her bed covers so her children would not find her! She has been enjoying constant contact with her kids but missed her dental family as well.

  2. March 6, 2020 was the Best of Toledo 2019 Party. It is an annual event considered by many to be the party of the year. Walking through the event there was an especially sunny group of smiles. Frankel Dentistry had reserved 5 full tables. One might think seeing each other week in and week out would be enough, not for the Frankel Dentistry crowd. They enjoy each other’s company in and out of the office.

    Dental Family

One wonders how Frankel Dentistry sets itself apart. “It’s our people”, confides Toledo, Ohio dentist, Dr. Jonathan Frankel at a recent Best of Toledo Party. Frankel Dentistry has been voted Best of Toledo by the readers of City Paper for 10 consecutive years. Frankel Dentistry has two locations evening and Saturday hours and doctors, healthcare providers, staff and patients that can’t help themselves but smile.

    Can’t hide the smiles!

Dr. Puhl from the Maumee location added, “We are changing lives a smile at a time. Our employees are considered family. It’s in our culture. They get it. They want it. They have the capacity to do it.”

What one notices is how much these folks like each other. They exude a fun- loving caring nature. Brittany Parran, a dental hygienist at the Toledo location believes it is their values, “We put out heads together to define what is important to us. It went quickly, we knew.”

    Always Better – Serve All – G.E.T.

Always Better. Serve All and G.E.T. (gratitude, encouragement, thankfulness) are the values of this Ohio dental practice and it shows. Human Resources and Maumee location manager, Dana Hooper shared, “We hire, promote and fire based on our values.” “We are doing what we love with people we love”, added Pamela Weitzel, a twenty-year employee.
