    When is the last time

    your dentist

    asked you

    what YOU wanted?

On the first visit at Jon Frankel Dentistry guests are asked in a private interview with the doctor about their dental history, concerns and desires. The treatment plan that follows will integrate optimal oral health with patient priorities and expectations.

    It is all about communication.

Personal consultations explaining various treatment options and patient responsibility management approaches keep the dental patients at Jon Frankel Dentistry in “the know”.

New patients are encouraged to schedule a complimentary consultation. “Answering dental questions early prevents Small Issues from becoming Big Problems” explains Dr. Frankel.

  2. Dr. Frankel and Dental Assistant Kenyetta Toledo Mud Hens Office Outing

Jon Frankel, DDS studied advanced cosmetic and restorative techniques because his patients wanted improved and enhanced smiles. Patients who were uncomfortable with their teeth seldom smiled, at times placed a hand over their mouth or just looked down. They were unaware of the message they sent or how it lead others to respond.

“A natural smile changes attitudes and so much more. It is almost as though the enhanced smile turns on a switch. My patients are instantly happier!”

  3. One often overhears or reads testimonials on the beauty and talent of accomplished gospel singer, Sheri LaFontaine. She can be heard on the radio (WPOS FM 102.3) or  be found online at www.sherilafountaine.com.

“If I may coin a phrase Vince Gill used when describing the awesome vocals of Martina McBride and apply it to Sheri LaFontaine, “God came down and smacked her vocal chords!” What a voice this young lady has! I have been a fan of her songwriting for a while now, as she has had some great songs recorded by LordSong, Kim Hopper, Hoskins Family, Ruppes and others. I have heard her with the Arnolds via their recordings, but hearing her on this solo recording literally blows me away. Again I say, what a voice! She has an infectious charisma that you can’t help but enjoy. It’s like you can see her smiling the whole time she is singing and before long, she’ll have you smiling and breaking into song right along with her.”

“One of the most captivating voices I’ve heard and a great heart to go along with all that talent! It has been my privilege to work with Sheri many times. She always leaves me wanting to hear more!”
Sheri Easter (Jeff and Sheri Easter)

“I would step out on a limb and say, Sheri has one of the best female voices out there today. The last concert I did with her also allowed me to see her heart for ministry! We need more of this type of commitment!”
    Ivan Parker

“When you mention the name Sheri LaFontaine, the first thing I think of is, her wonderful smile that lights up any room or anyone whom she comes in contact with. God has blessed Sheri with incredible gifts. She is second to none when it comes to writing a lyric or masterfully singing a song. I’m glad that I can call her a friend!”
    Scotty Inman (Triumphant Quartet)

“When I hear the name ‘Sheri LaFontaine’, I automatically think of one of the sweetest ladies I have ever had the privilege to meet. This sweetness flows through to her beautiful vocals and has captured hearts all over! Her voice is not only sweet, but powerful as well. She has the gift of communicating the lyrics with feeling and sincerity. God is definitely smiling on this ministry.” – Brooklyn Collingworth (The Collingsworth Family)

Sheri has a testimonial for her dentist!

“Today was my first visit to Dr. Frankel’s Office. I had seen the ads of TV and on the billboards allover town. My brother had produced a jingle for them and that’s where I had first heard the name. I expected it to be a big, crowded and impersonal place. I certainly did not expect to meet the famous Frankel DDS himself. To my surprise it was just the opposite. All the staff  were very friendly, polite and professional. I felt like a guest in the home of my host, Dr. Frankel. I’m hooked. Love it!” –Sheri LaFontaine

  4. Jon Frankel is changing minds!

Most people understand the importance of regular, on-going dental care but many do not look forward to their dental visits. Not so with the patients at Jon Frankel Dentistry.

“Wonderful! The entire staff is very friendly and welcoming. They were able to get all my appointments scheduled within the time constraints of work and my class reunion. Until coming to Dr. Frankel’s office I hated going to the dentist and avoided it for over 6 years. Now I feel comfortable about appointments. Thank you.”  Michelle

    FAVORITE DENTAL TIPS.
Angie~ Use a straw while drinking coffee or tea. Your teeth will stay whiter.

Dr. O’Neill~ Use a tongue scraper. Often bad breath can be remedied by daily use of a tongue scraper. He prefers the Breath RX scraper.

Mel~ Use a lipstick with purple or blue under-tones. Your teeth will look whiter.

Karen~ When using dental floss, think that the substance you are scraping off is “left over-night, dried-onto the floor… sticky apple juice. Apply pressure while flossing.

Debbie~ Use a Sonic Flex-Care Electric Toothbrush to keep that “just recently polished” feeling!

Dr. Frankel~ Floss while in the shower. You never forget!

Danielle~ Use your retainer after orthodontic treatment. Your teeth will move back if you don’t.

Patient Brandon~ Don’t rinse with water after using mouthwash.

Pamela~ Have your teeth cleaned every three to four months if you even have a tiny spot of bleeding. Healthy gums do not bleed.

Dr. Gudelmann~ If you have frequent headaches have your teeth checked for clenching and grinding.

Dawn~ Do not use your teeth to open snack bags or water bottles, cut thread or tape.

Brigette~ After whitening your teeth avoid dark colored foods, colas, teas or coffees.

Heather~ When you are numb after a dental procedure be careful not to bite your tongue or cheek.

Patient Rhonda~ Have your wisdom teeth removed. Your teeth will feel better and be easier to floss and brush.

  6. Forget those moments of mystery, sitting in a dental chair, (often times holding the arms of the chair and your breath) as your Dentist studies the little rectangular films in varied tones of black on a lighted viewing box.

You aren’t still taking photos with an old Brownie Camera are you? (Those fuzzy imaged black and whites with a scalloped edge that took weeks to develop.) Why should you expect less of your dentist?  Digital radiographs or x-rays can be seen chairside (on a computer screen as soon taken) with a resolution so high even you can diagnose decay!

Dental Digital Radiographs have been around for over a decade. There are several advantages to Dental Digital Radiography.

    • See images immediately
    • Enhance images for clarity
    • Store images indefinitely
    • Eliminate developing solution and film developers
    • Communicate with other dentists, specialists, family members
    • Use less radiation
    • Prevent loss or damage of images
    • Ease of use

Jon Frankel Dentistry uses Digital Dental Radiography. It is faster, safer and enhances images for a clear, concise and green approach toward optimal Dental and Oral Health.
